STUD SERVICE

Your Responsibilities
We currently offer Stud service on a limited basis. Please reach out to us first if you would like us to consider breeding your doe.
We do have several requirements we expect to be followed when using a Hidden Hills Buck for Stud Service.
- We charge $100 for Stud Service
- We require you to fill out and sign our written agreement. (Click Here For Agreement)
- We require that ALL bucks born from the breeding be castrated. No Exceptions! Unless you make prior arrangements with us and the cost of stud service with the ability to keep bucks intact is $800.
- We require blood test through UC Davis within 30 days of the driveway breeding: CAE, CL, Johnes and Brucella. Results need to be forwarded to us before the doe is brought for breeding.
- If the doe does not settle on the first breeding, you are welcome to try one more time. We can refund the stud fee if unsuccessful after two tries, minus a $50 service fee to help cover our time.

Important Additional Information
- It is up to you to decide which buck you would like to have your doe bred to.
- Please take the time to watch for your does heat cycles in advance
When you observe a possible heat cycle write down the date on a calendar. Also mark you calendar for 18 to 21 days in future when you can expect the next heat cycle - When you are confident in your does cycles text or send me an email three weeks from the next cycle so that I can try to also plan for it on my calendar

- Send us your blood test results by email. We must see the Original Form....not a list of written results
- Make sure your doe is in good health and has had a good supply of minerals and alfalfa for several months before the planned breeding
- A does cycle can last from 12 hours to 2 days
- We only offer Stud Service from September - January each year
- Please BE ON TIME when bringing your doe
- We WANT you to be successful and these tips will help!
