2021 KIDDING SCHEDULE
|
If you would like to place a reservation for a 2021 kid, please be sure to fill out and submit our Reservation Wist List. You will not be placed on any wait lists until we have this form on file.
We only accept paid deposits from Performance Herds at this time. if you do not Milk Test, Linear Appraise and/or Participate in ADGA Sanction Dairy Goat Shows you are welcome to be placed on any does Wait List at no cost. All Goats at Hidden Hills are tested annually in January for CAE, CL, & Johnnes. All Negative from 2016 - 2021. Click here for 2021 Test Results |
In 2019 we greatly reduced our herd size to just our Champion does and Juniors. It is our express interest to place our 2020 spring kids into Performance homes when possible. Because of this desire we have decided to give herds that Milk Test, Show and Linear Appraise priority on all reservations. We will no longer be publically listing reservation order on our pairings. Significant discounts will be given to Performance homes as well, in some cases as much as $500 (or more) off the listed price. We hope our policies will help encourage young herds to look into the programs that help promote the Nigerian breed and we would be thrilled to help answer questions and assist anyone in getting started down this path.

If you want to turn up the milk volume in your herd, this is the gal to do it. She was number 2 in volume in the Nation in 2017 with ADGA Top Ten and graced the Top Ten Breed Leader list again in 2018 in the number six spot. Darlin also had a two-year-old daughter that milked almost 1,300 pounds her very first freshening. She is a 2017, 2018 and 2019 ADGA Elite Doe and scored an impressive VEEE90 as a four year old at Linear Appraisals. We retained two Darlin / Red daughters in 2017 and we also retained a daughter in 2019 from Valedictorian and are so impressed with the length of body and correct confirmation on this little gal.
Darlin / Chase The Legend -produces a 43% line breeding based on ten generations. Notable contributing genetics include SGCH Algedi Farm DJ Honey Dew 5*M (EEEE 91) and SGCH Rosasharn's UMT Tupelo Honey 4*M (EEEE 91), both at 3.1%

Dew Lee Noted has 3 Reserve Grand Champion Wins under her belt as a Two-Year old First Freshener and her first time back into the Show Ring as a four-year-old she easily earned all three of her Grand Champion legs in one show season! We would like to retain a doe from this pairing. Dew Lee Noted is exactly what we are striving to have our whole herd look like. We couldn't be more thrilled with her retained 2019 son and daughter and would like to add more of her offspring to the herd!
We are repeating this Dew Lee Noted / Riptide pairing. It produces a 22.1% line breeding based on ten generations. Top contributing genetics for this pairing are Drops of Jupiter and Tupelo Honey at 4.7%

Our very first show of the 2018 season, Melody swept three very competitive rings in a row and earned her Grand Champion status as a second freshening three-year-old. We are pretty certain when looking back a few years from now, we will see Melody as a top contributor in the foundation of our herd.
Melody seems to be churning out beautiful daughter after beautiful daughter, so we are interested in seeing what she can
do with these equally impressive genetics. More on Sulaymann Quinn coming soon...

Time is definitely one of our most promising does. She easily added two Grand Champion wins to her resume as a two-year-old first freshener and then quickly earned the title of Finished Champion as a three-year-old. I am more impressed with her by the day! We have retained multiple daughters of hers and it is evident she puts nice offspring on the ground. She has an udder we strive to have more of in our herd!
We love this tight line breeding between Time and Chase! Top contributing genetics for this pairing are Drops of Jupiter at 5.1%, Honey Dew at 3.1% and Tupelo Honey at 1.2%. We are very excited and hopeful to add a daughter from this pairing to the herd!

Blossom is our first retained daughter of what I would consider our best doe, so she has big shoes to fill. She is pictured as a yearling. Her dam was slow at maturing, but stepped into the show ring as a three-year-old and finished in three back-to-back rings. Blossom's confirmation is certainly not maturing slowly, she will be a little powerhouse as a two-year-old. This is sure to be a doe to watch! At the 2019 ADGA National Show Blossom placed fourth in the Senior Dry Yearling Class!
* Blossom has earned her dry leg - Best in Show against 115 Junior Does in May 2019 and placed 4th in her class at the 2019 ADGA Nationals
This pairing is a 14.5% linebreeding, with Rosasharn's Under my Thumb being the highest contributing genetics. Under My Thumb is sire to two very impressive offspring, Rosasharn's UMT Tupelo Honey and Rosasharn's UMT Pippin. Pippin has produced 10 Champion offspring!

It has been a pleasure watching Mystic mature into a beautiful young doe. She has a long, lovely feminine frame and a straight topline that blends well into a nice wide rump. We are excited to see if she can follow in her dams footsteps and show us a beautiful, high, wide and nicely attached udder as a second freshener in 2021.

This little gal is one of our favorite 2019 keeper does. She is the daughter of our beloved Country Melody and is the spitting image of Melody at the same age. Magnolia kidded with twin and several month into her first lactation we could not be more pleased with her first freshening udder. If you are interested in Magnolia please take the time to look at her doe page and the picture of her first udder. We feel like we are watching a repeat of her dam and I think she will not disappoint in a few year. We broke a rule this year and retained her first daughter....we love her that much!

We consider little Forget Me Not's (Mia) dam to be one of our top three does. Mia is our first retained daughter from Time that is line bred on our Algedi genetics and I can't wait to see how she matures. She reminds me an awful lot of Time when she was a junior doe. Time is a powerful doe and I think the body style will pair nicely with Deeds refined, long body. I don't usually keep kids from my first fresheners, but this is a combo that will surely tempt me.
This pairing is a 17% linebreeding based on six generations. The top contributing genetics are Algedi Farm Drops of Jupiter and his dam Rosasharn's TL Zenith.

Brit is the daughter of one of our favorite Champion does, Sierra Aspen ST Honeymoon Rose. Rose has be far the nicest fore udder in our whole herd and we look forward to that pass to all her daughters.
Britannia as a young doe is already showing off a beautiful long, feminine frame and we feel pairing her with Hidden Hills Dirty Deeds will just accentuate that desirable trait
Pairing Britannia with Dirty Deeds produces a 8.8% line-breeding based on six generations. The top contributing genetics are SGCH AGS Rosasharn's TL Zenith 3*M (EEVE 90@ 5 yrs) and Drops of Jupiter.

This little gal is one of our favorite 2020 keeper does. She is the daughter of our beloved Country Melody and seems to be taking after her sire with her body style, she is definitely not our standard Melody daughter...which is very exciting for us to see what Melody can do when paired with a buck that can influence the offspring.
