Even at just 4 weeks of age Red's presence leaves a lasting impression; we could not be more thrilled with him! He has a lovely up hill stance and a very level top line. He has good brisket extension, long flat rump, straight front legs and nice angulation to his rear legs. We will enjoy watching our newest herd sire mature!
Red's Dam, Castle Rock Sarafina, is a phenomenal doe earning an LA score of 92 in 2015! In the show ring, Sarafina easily finished her Championship Title by the age of two. She is also a very solid doe in the milk pail earning her milk star during her fourth lactation, where she produced 640 pounds of milk in just 185 day. She is extremely dairy with a beautifully attached fore udder, lovely top line and rump. During her 2015 Linear Appraisal she earned "E''s in every single structural trait except rump and udder texture, both of which she scored V in. We are thrilled to have one of her sons join our herd!
