We are very excited about Good Golly (Gee Gee), she was sold as a kid and we were able to have her rejoin the herd as a two-year-old. She is a feminine young doe with a long neck that blends nicely. She has a lovely rear leg set, she is very small and we are looking forward to watching her mature.
Gee Gee's Dam has achieved some amazing accomplishments in just her first two years. Bella Contessa was a stunning young doe that marched into her very first ring and brought home her restricted Junior leg. At two she freshened for the first time and had an udder that didn't look like it belonged to a first freshener (see picture at bottom of page). As a first freshener Bella Contessa demanded attention in the show ring, picking up 3 Reserve Grand Champion wins out her first 5 rings of the year. Sadly, shortly into her second year Contessa went over height. We have decided to leave her in our breeding program and pair her with our shortest bucks. We feel she is one of the nicest does we own and we look forward to watching this little doe of hers mature.
Gee Gee's Sire, is has a pedigree we would like to focus on more in our herd. Poppy Patch HB Honey Badger is a Grandson of SGCH AGS Rosasharn's UMT Tupelo Honey on both his sire's and his Dam side. Tupelo Honey is extremely correct and proportionate, balancing width and depth throughout. She possesses great dairy strength, refinement, flatness of bone, open ribbing and loose skin. She stands on good feet and legs with strong pasterns.
