Bella Noche is a lovely yearling that we are very thrilled about! She is out of our farm favorite Castle Rock Spanish Sunrise (Lady), who stands at just 19 1/2" tall. Spanish Sunrise, despite her small stature, has a very capacious udder that is producing well over 3 pounds of milk a day. She is a very dairy doe with increasing width and depth throughout giving her that sought after dairy wedge shape. Lady has a very strong front end assembly with excellent brisket extension and she stands on very correct legs and feet.
Bella's sire Blue Ice is a son of the infamous GCH CRF Castle Rock Black Ice who performed extraordinarily well at the 2015 ADGA National show taking home 1st place and 1st udder in the aged doe class as a 7 year old, she and her daughter Castle Rock Ice Floe (Blue Ice's litter-mate sister) took 2nd place in the Dam and Daughter class, and to top it off Black Ice took home the Total Performer Award! Black Ice's Linear Appraisal score that year was just as impressive where she proved her longevity and correctness by earning an EEEE 92 (7 year old score)!
We believe this is a very promising cross and are eager to watch Bella as she matures. We hope to have her freshen in 2019, we were unsuccessful to settle her in 2018.
