We love our first retained daughter from our herd sire Hidden Hills Chase The Legend. She is longer bodied doe, with a correct topline and improved rump over her dam. She reminds us very much of her paternal grand dam SGCH Alethia Dew Lee Noted 6*M (VEEE 91 @ 4yrs) .
Her Dam, Rose is a finished Champion and has done well in the milk pail as well. She averaged over 3.9 lbs during her 2016 lactation.
Her Sire, Chase The Legend comes from very impressive genetics. His dam, Dew Lee Noted earned 3 Reserve Grand Champions as a first freshening two-year-old in the extremely competitive Southern California shows. She took a year off from the ring as a three-year-old...but marched into the ring as a four-year-old and made quick work of becoming a finished Champion. She is one of the last of twin daughters from the stunning and in our opinion "perfect" SGCH Algedi Farm DJ Honey Dew 5*M (EEEE 91).
Dew Lee Noted has an impressive udder, scoring a 38 in Fore Udder Attachment and Rear Udder Arch, 37 in Rear Udder Height and a 36 for Medial. Her first year on milk test with us (as a three-year-old) she milked 910 pounds during her 206 day lactation, that is a daily average of more than 4.4 pounds! We look forward to getting her on milk test again in 2021.
