Walks Like Rain is one of our youngest Country Melody daughters and I am so impressed with her femininity and smoothness of blending. Rain shows very prominent withers, tightly set elbows and a lovely top line.
Her Dam, SGCH Bellafire BP Country Melody 1*M (EEEE 91 @ 3yrs 2m) swept all three rings at the first show of the season as a three-year-old. She was an impressive sight that day! Melody was so long bodied and elegant as a junior doe, I knew it would take her a few years to grow into and fill out all that length...at three years of age...she did it! And her elegance was noted by an impressive EEEE 91 she earned at Linear Appraisals at just 3 years old. She is also so very impressive in the milk bucket, milking 5.6 pounds at 41 days fresh into her second lactation.
Rain's Sire, Hidden Hills Chase the Legend is extremely correct and proportionate, balancing width and depth throughout. He possesses great dairy strength, refinement, flatness of bone, open ribbing and loose skin. Chase's Dam has produced two beautiful littermate sisters of Chase for Hidden Hills. Hidden Hills Natural Mystic earned an LA score of VEEE89 as a first freshening two-year-old. At 3 years old she stood 7th and the 2022 ADGA National Show and 2nd Place at the 2023 Nationals in her milking classes and then went on to earn the ADGA National Total Performer in 2023.
