Extended Pedigree

True is the son of our First freshening Country Melody daughter: Hidden Hills Acts Like Summer. We don't typically sell or retain bucks from first fresheners, but I just couldn't seem to wether any of her boys. They were all beautiful and an equally impressive pedigrees. I didn't plan to retain any but by October I still had two of them, trying to ignore them, not wanting to wether them, so there they stayed in my buck pen...lol. In the mean I had completely fallen in love with Summers first freshening udder. Long story short....he has become our newest Junior Herd Sire

Because True was born so late in Spring he never got him shaved. He does appear to have a very nice front end, strength of brisket and shoulder assembly. I really admire his flatness of rib. I look forward to seeing what is under all that hair this coming summer!

True's Dam, Hidden Hills Acts Like Summer is our seventh retained daughter from Country Melody and non of her daughters disappoint! We look forward to a longer lactation for Summer in 2025 and True earning his *B
On Ture's sire side is the lovely Champion Old Mountain Farm Dalton Quinn. Dalton Quinn was the 2022 ADGA National 1st Place Yearling Milker.
