We hadn't planned on retaining this little girl at the beginning of the season, but we just couldn't keep our eyes off of her. Her dam has long been one of our favorite does and by the time she was a few weeks old we knew she would be staying.
Her dam, Sally's Sister (Sissy) earned a VEEE 90 During LA's in 2021 at 3 years-old. Sissy is an angular doe with a deep wide chest and a long deep barrel. We commend her for her beautiful mammary system! She scored a 35 for Fore Udder Attachment & Rear Udder Arch, and a 38 for Rear Udder Height. Her final Mammary Score was an E. She also scored an E in Head, Rear Legs, Back, Dairy Strength and Body.
Juicy's Sire, Hidden Hills Chase the Legend has been the main focus of our breeding program for two years now. His dam, Alethia Dew Lee Noted is one of our main foundation does and she boast a VEEE 91 LA score. Chase's full litter mate sister Hidden Hills Natural Mystic scored the highest LA score possible for a first freshener...VEEE 89. At two years old she already has three Reserve Grand Champions and one Grand Champion win under her belt. She is also averaging 4.8 pounds her first 163 days in milk and is on track to milk more than 1300 her first lactation.
What we love about Juicy Fruit: We love her long feminine body and neck. Her elbows are set tightly and smoothly against her chest. She has a deep chest and beautiful strength of brisket. We just love watching her on the move and commend her upstandingness and graceful walk. She has a strong topline and is slightly uphill at the withers. We look forward to watching this little gal mature!
